The CEO will publish a new update in the coming month of October, so applications are invited for registration / modification / change in name or address for this month.
How to check your name in Tamil Nadu Voter list online with Photo update
If you are yet to submit your E-Application, then you may do so by visiting the official website of Tamil Nadu Electoral Election Officer and submit the same. You will be asked to choose your District based on that a list of Assembly constituencies will come up. Choose according your preferred one and head to the next option.
The next option will ask for your Part No. which means where you basically cast your vote from or which location is preferred according to your nearest area. Then download Form No. 6/7/8/8A and fill the same online.

CEO of Tamil Nadu has called for linking your respective Aadhar card number (EPIC seeding) with your respective Voter ID number. This is important for those who receive subsidy for LPG cylinders regularly. If you haven’t linked your Voter ID card yet to Aadhar Card, kindly do it as quickly as possible.
The following districts have been revised in new voter list update: Chennai, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Thiruvallur, Salem, Coimbatore, Villupuram, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Cuddalore, Tirupur, Tiruvannamalai, Thanjavur, Erode, Dindigul, Virudhunagar, Krishnagiri, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Namakkal, Pudukkottai, Nagapattinam, Dharmapuri, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Thiruvarur, Theni, Karur, Ariyalur, Nilgiris and Perambalur.
The latest addition of names for 2020 and 2021 Voters list will feature candidate’s colour photo with I-card details, address as already mentioned and voting schedule details for municipal and Loksabha elections in coming year.

Revision of 2020 Voter List information as per TN Government
The revision which is scheduled to happen next year has started its process of checking and validating for updated database. Currently the draft electoral rolls has been published while the new database is being scheduled for adding new voters within the list next year.
October – November 2020 has been declared as last phase for receiving applications online for next year’s database update scheduled in January 2021. You can optionally register from the nearest Electoral office too by filling the application form through download link.
You can go to any office near your constituency and use their own online system for application form filling and help as required. A general fee of Rs.10 for using their services and Rs.3 for printing the receipt will be taken as nominal charge. As large as 2000 centers have been developed across the state to boost online registration facility.

How to track Voter ID card application submitted for TN Voter list
The electoral officers of Tamil Nadu have presented an online system through which users can keep track of their application by a unique ID or by mobile number registered. The process takes some time after your application passes through initial scanning of data at the CEO head office.
Usually 15 day window is generally kept to ensure application reaches the office from your BLO officer and then details being uploaded on application tracking system. Your mobile number is immediately registered and simultaneous updates are being sent to your mobile.

Voter list revision update for July – August 2020
According to the latest notification released, the TN Government is providing many mobile van facilities for citizens to get themselves registered for the next polling update.
